An impossible task. Trying to capture one of the Natural Wonders of the World in just a few photos. Words CANNOT describe (nor photos capture) the IMMENSE BEAUTY of this place. Everywhere you turn is another vista, another perspective when the shadows change and colors emerge. I'm a sucker for awesome color... I humbly offer these photos in an attempt to convey how lovely...
Photo below by me.
You might think a friend took the photo below. Nope. I did. With a little help from the camera. Timer, that is.
6:30 am at the Canyon. No one around except some deer. So close we could touch them. Photo by Jerry
NORMAN!!! We adore him. The largest mule in the mule pack and the one with the largest attitude. Obviously, he was Jerry's mount. We love Norman.
Mule butts! I love mule butts, aren't they cute? My mule, Sassy, is the one with her legs spread. No comment. She was a sweet little girl, though. Never a problem, I'd scratch and pat her neck; she'd flip her ears back like "Thank-a Sista!!"
Next two photos by Jerry. Obviously.
Could God have provided a better lunch spot? Life doesn't get much better...
Train Day! We took the train to the Canyon on the second day. Photo below by Jerry
Photo below by me. :)
A cute Wild West Show before we boarded the train. They were gambling for McDonalds breakfast money...
Oops! Dah Sher-iF has come to town!
